PRECAUTIONS
Before using this product, keep the following in mind to ensure the best results and avoid potential issues:
- Perform a Patch Test: Due to the presence of fragrance and a complex blend of silicones and extracts, it is highly recommended to perform a patch test on a small area of your jawline or inner arm 24-48 hours before full-face application to check for any adverse reactions.
- Silicone-Based Formula: This foundation is silicone-heavy. If you have known sensitivities to dimethicone or other silicones, use with caution. For best results, pair it with a silicone-based primer to ensure proper adhesion and prevent pilling.
- Avoid with Water-Based Primers: Applying this silicone-based foundation over a water-based primer can cause pilling and separation. Check your primer's ingredients; if water is the first ingredient, it might not be compatible.
- Potential for Comedogenicity: While not explicitly comedogenic, the rich blend of oils and silicones could potentially clog pores for very acne-prone skin. Monitor your skin's response.
- Fragrance Awareness: The product contains fragrance, which can be an irritant for those with sensitive skin. If you have reactive or sensitive skin, this is a key factor to consider.
- Storage: Please keep out of reach of infants and children. Please store in a ventilated and dry place, away from direct sunlight and high temperature.
HOW TO APPLY
To achieve the desired finish, follow these steps:
Step 1: Prep Your Skin
- Start with clean, moisturized skin. For a hydrated, glowing base, you can use your regular serum and moisturizer. Allow them to fully absorb.
Step 2: Prime (Recommended)
- Use a Silicone-Based Primer. This will create a smooth, unified canvas and help the foundation adhere perfectly, enhancing its longevity and pore-blurring effects.
Step 3: Dispense the Product
- Shake the bottle well. Due to its likely fluid, essence-like consistency, dispense a small amount (a pea-sized drop) onto the back of your hand or a palette. You can always add more for higher coverage.
Step 4: Apply and Blend
- Recommended Tools:
- Fingers: Your body heat will warm the product, helping it melt seamlessly into the skin for a very natural finish.
- Dense Foundation Brush: Use stippling or buffing motions to press the foundation into the skin for more coverage.
- Application Method:
- Dot the foundation onto your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin.
- Using your preferred tool, blend outwards in gentle, downward strokes, ensuring to blend well into the jawline and hairline to avoid harsh lines.
- Build coverage gradually where needed by applying thin, additional layers.
Step 5: Set (Optional)
- This foundation likely has a natural, satin finish. If you have an oily T-zone or desire a matte look, lightly set only those areas with a translucent powder. Avoid over-powdering to maintain the radiant "awake" glow.
Step 6: Finalize Your Makeup
- Proceed with the rest of your makeup routine (concealer, blush, bronzer, etc.).
